History

The Brokenhead Agricultural Society has been around since 1917 starting with local farmers striving to help each other and to promote agricultural awareness. Over the years, the Society has evolved into different branches as the agriculture landscape has shifted and changed.

The primary goal of the Brokenhead Agricultural Society today is to provide educational opportunities for local producers as well as to promote tourism in the region and surrounding areas. While many of the current Society members are not farmers, they all are passionate about agriculture, rural living, and community.
